Now that Rita Vindedzis's altered book "Gifts of The Sea" is in the skillful hands of Seth Apter, I thought it would be safe to share a few selections of the pages I worked on. Glimpses of sections can also be seen here on my blog. Loved every minute of this sea side visit. So, put on your sun screen, relax a moment, take a deep breath and please - take a look.

Wonderful glimpses of even more wonderful pages. You are captured the colors, the movement, the textures, and all the sights of the sea. I can almost smell the salt water and feel the breeze. Your artwork is definitely a gift!
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful. The picture with a small glimpse of the sun is just astonishing. It is now on my wall in my office and changed my mood to something better.
ReplyDeleteJill - you have captured the lovely movement of water, the glimmering sun on the water and the textural feel of sand, shells and pebbles ...it was as if I was standing, sitting and /or playing on a beach to see your lovely pages and artwork...thanks for this glorious reminder of summer, one of my most favourite times.

Jill, your addition to my book is wonderful!! Oh I can hardly wait to get the book back and see them in person.
ReplyDeleteHow intriguing...I've just been posting about two non-fiction books...A Year by the Sea and Gifts from the Sea...the sea seems to be a theme that has been following me lately.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of collaborative art books!
